Battery Box

Sunday 25 October 2009, by Clement

In the beginning, there was no lego posibility to drive a vehicle via
Infra-Red or Radio Control technology. The only contact possible with the truck was the wires.
Furthermore, the weakness of 9V motors didn’t allow the trucks to bring a heavy weight onboard.

In the recent years, the implementation of RC and PFS technology in LEGO products,
together with the development of new and more powerfull motors,
made it posible to carry battery onboard of a vehicle.

Today, as wires are not necessary anymore thanks to the RC and PFS receivers,
most Trial Trucks have an on-board battery.
