This is my latest trial vehicule : a lada niva 4x4 based on 81mm wheel diameter. The lada hasn’t U-join on drivetrain, only classic gear and bevel gear.
The suspensions are pendular with shock absorbers and turntable to reduce stress on drive axle.
A M operates the steering with U-join and a XL (placed ont the rear of vehicule) operates the drive. It is also equiped with a 2-speed gearbox and a fake i4 engine. The wheel steering turns with the wheel.
The clearing abilities are good but the friction on steering point causes some lost power.

I agree with Zblj, this Lada is very nice looking, yet full of functions.
Where it could be better: On the front, there must be a lot of stress on driving axle. The battery box is in a bit high position, but I think, that was the lowest free space :)
